Prerequisites

The prerequisites to edit a proposal:

• Proposal Creation: Ensure you have successfully added a proposal.

• Tokens: Obtain a minimum of 0.005 WAVES tokens to cover the transaction fee.

• Google Chrome Browser: Install Google Chrome to ensure compatibility with the Waves Dapp UI.

Step 1: Edit Proposal

NOTE: Ensure you meet the prerequisites before editing a proposal.

LIMITATIONS: You can edit:

• Your proposal only within the first 60 minutes after its creation.

• Only the proposal's title and description properties.

1. Go to the Waves dApp page.

2. In the header of the page, click Sign in. The Connect a wallet to get started window will open.

3. In the Connect a wallet to get started window, select one of the sign-in options:

   • Sign in with Keeper.

   • Sign in with Exchange(Seed).

   • Sign in with Exchange(Email).

   • Sign in with Metamask.

   The wallet extension will open.

4. In the wallet extension, sign in to your wallet.

5. In the edit block:

   LIMITATIONS: The edit block's data fields accept input only in string format.

   1. In the txId field, enter your proposal ID.

   2. Optional. In the title field, enter a new title of your proposal.

   3. Optional. In the description field, enter a new description of your proposal.

   4. Click Invoke.

      NOTE: The transaction fee is 0.005 WAVES.

   5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
