Retract

Prerequisites

The prerequisites to retract a proposal:

• Proposal Creation: Ensure you have successfully added a proposal.

• Tokens: Obtain a minimum of 0.005 WAVES tokens to cover the transaction fee.

• Google Chrome: Install the browser to ensure compatibility with the Waves Dapp UI.

Step 1: Retract Proposal

NOTE: Ensure you meet the prerequisites before retracting a proposal.

LIMITATIONS: You can retract your proposal only within the first 60 minutes after its creation.

1. Go to the Waves dApp page.

2. In the header of the page, click Sign in. The Connect a wallet to get started window will open.

3. In the Connect a wallet to get started window, select one of the sign-in options:

   • Sign in with Keeper.

   • Sign in with Exchange(Seed).

   • Sign in with Exchange(Email).

   • Sign in with Metamask.

   The wallet extension will open.

4. In the wallet extension, sign in to your wallet.

5. In the retractProposal block:

   1. In the txId field, enter your proposal ID.

      LIMITATIONS: The data field accepts input only in string format.

   2. Click Invoke.

      NOTE: The transaction fee is 0.005 WAVES.
