UNIT0 is the native token of the Unit Zero network. It plays a multifaceted role, functioning as both a utility token within the network and a governance token within the ecosystem’s DAO.

UNIT0 is essential for network operations, namely to pay transaction fees. As a governance token, UNIT0 is a cornerstone of the Units ecosystem, facilitating a sustainable model of growth and expansion.

Governance and DAO Involvement

UNIT0 holders are eligible for membership in the upcoming Units Ecosystem DAO, engaging directly in the decentralized governance of the network. By staking their tokens, members can gain significant influence over the ecosystem's development.

Rewards and Incentives

UNIT0 holders benefit from a structured incentive system, where participating in ecosystem governance and supporting new projects can yield significant rewards.

New projects launching in the Unit Zero network can apply for grants from the DAO, in exchange for allocating a portion of their project tokens to the DAO's treasury. DAO members are eligible to receive allocations of these tokens. The grants awarded to the projects are contingent upon achieving specific milestones. This milestone-based approach ensures that funding is allocated efficiently and that projects contribute to further liquidity bootstrapping within the Units ecosystem.
